Looks like lots of work and some fun, but well worth the results.
Great jog John.
I second that!!! Wowzers! So this is what genuine jealousy feels like….
So good @John_E
That’s a great space @John_E . So neat and tidy !
Looks great! Do you own a lot of gig bags and cases as well?
Wish I had the space to do something like that!
I could live in there and be happy.
Just needs a bed and I would call it my room
I really need to do something with my walls.
No, no, this is what male mid-life crisis feels like when you put in all in one tiny room

Yes, they accumulate and are in a nearby closet, I’d say ~2/3 - 3/4 came with some sort of something, along with the 14 sax cases, a few spare stands and other accessories that I stopped using but you never know, etc.
The moon pod is great for sleeping, now just need a bucket.
Great re-work on the space @John_E ! Very organized.
Meanwhile, the only sax I see is on that little statue/figurine… XD
They are all covered on the “Jazz end”. Most are silver plate so on stands in anti tarnish bags. The 3 that aren’t silver are in “badger playing saxophone” bags to prevent dust buildup on the oil in the mechanisms.
Very nice John @John_E ,
gives me motivation to get my shit together and do a updated shoot of my room with the new additions to the family
Cheers Brian
I got upgrades:
Nektar PACER foot controller with DIN and USB:
Jacks on the back for adding expression pedals, 4 more footswitches, and 2 latching switches for say, changing channels on an amp w/ out MIDI.
The cover I got from Digital Deck Covers that I had so much hope for that ended up being a glorified $35 ($10 shipping…) nylon towel when it comes to “protection” -_-
Since ordering I planned to swap out my footrest for the PACER w/ cover, but it’s not near as padded as the pictures on the site led me to believe, and the height was uncomfortable for a foot rest.
Enter yoga blocks to the rescue lol
And now I have storage for some foot pedals, too.
Well, not a great first time experience with Digital Deck Covers. The cover already fit kinda sketchy, and I was considering sewing some elastic onto it and started really inspecting it:
I can fix it, I’m just not sure how they missed it XD We all make mistakes, but I’ll probably avoid them in the future, at least for a while.
I have two with no issue but got the more canvas-y type material. All good here.
My only gripe with them is they don’t make a slot for the cables (power, usb, whatever) but a quick trip to my mom’s can rectify that.
I thought I had read they do, at least for the Isla S2400. Maybe that was a different company. In this case at least, they did not, but the sewing is such that the “rear panel” just points out backward vs down anyway.
