Here are mine. I love a good strap. These are all from the company Ethos Guitar Straps. Sadly, I believe they went out of business during covid. Nice and wide, padded, good backer, high quality leather, and hand made. The Texas flag was actually a commission that my wife had him do for my birthday one here. He then added it to his regular lineup. The flames are because i’m a fireman for my day job. I really dig the black and gray American flag. The weathered brown one was the most affordable.
You gotta match the strap to the bass, clothes, and genre!
That would match my white Aerodyne great! I might have to track it down.
edit: Showed this to my wife. She gasped about how “adorable” it is and said I need it for Halloween. Thanks! You got me the all clear to buy another strap!
The strap is called Richter 1815 Blackness Gunblack Grommets. It’s padded and the sides are finished smoothly. My standard polyester Ibanez strap felt like it was trying to chop my head off after 8 days of playing.
I hope this will feel better. I also ordered the strap locks with it, just in case. My first modification.
Any color will look good as long as it’s ‘faded’. So no brights. If you want something that is sort of matchy, then go for faded purple or a more neutral grey.
I’m kinda thinking something the other direction. How about silver sequins? I was thinking something along the lines of a disco ball but this was what I could come up with in 30 seconds.
