I have the same one. Love it!

my very un-fancy straps :

right : a Shaller Safe Strap, made for the Shaller Strap Lock system. what’s nice is that the holes are round and doesn’t have a slit, so the strap lock mecanism fit ideally. otherwise it’s a long and narrow nylon strap, without any padding, not comfortable at all. but this is my main (almost only) strap for more or less 25 years, I use it for guitars and basses.

left : a Fender leather strap that I had with one of my MIA Fenders, don’t remember which one. it’s my spare/backup strap, with the same length setting than the Shaller one. not more comfortable than the Shaller.

I own a few other straps but I really only use those two.

I’ve had a lot of straps come and go in my time but this is the one I’ve managed to hold on to for the last 25 years…

Yes I do, but I would think anyone who embroiders on leather could to it.

A tale of two straps… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I started my “little” bass journey with a ton of research before I even had my bass in hand. In my mind I had a strap goal of something comfortable, and supportive, style can come later. I originally wanted with something wide and very padded. So I ended up spending a whopping $22 on a simple, but well reviewed “Neoprene SBR Memory Foam” padded strap that was 3.7 in wide off Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3RL2LV/ . This is/was a good strap, for the most part very comfortable and my shoulder, nor back, never bothered me. However what I didn’t like it because it was a Neoprene, it was very hot and caused me to sweat under the strap quite a bit. Then, it wanted to ride up my neck a little which also annoyed me. I was contemplating trimming it down on the neck side to be a little more narrow to keep it off my neck, but derided against it because I wasn’t sure it would actually help, and i figured I’d probably destroy it.

So after being about 3/4 of the way through this course in mid June. I discovered this thread and saw @Fahri 's post about the Kliq Aircell strap. It was a little narrower than mine and got GREAT reviews. I figured for $39.99 it was worth a shot… OH MY!!!.. what a difference!!! I don’t think I could be any happier with this strap. It is comfortable and stays put where I want it, and it is not hot at all. I can do 3 hour plus secession and not even think about my strap once. Oh and the blue color matches my bass quite nicely (Bonus!) I highly recommend this strap!

Such a happy ending… I wish there were color options where I live as well!

Thanks for posting this Chris @csmundell. I play sitting down, and was debating whether that makes it worth it to spend this much on a strap, but every time I read anything about the Aircell, it’s highly rated.
I think I need to get one.

Thank you for another vote of confidence for the Kliq Aircell. I may be in the market for a new strap in the very near future as mine is starting to fall apart!

That looks like a very nice and comfortable strap. If I wasn’t perfectly content with my Levi’s Leather straps, I might give one of these a try. Maybe if I get another bass.

Mine are actually a slightly cheaper AirCell knockoff but it is the same concept and feel.

might just keep my uncomfortable Shaller thin strap.

I got this daddario with the plastic strap locks built on so I didn’t have to take the strap buttons off my American performer p bass. I have heard one person say there plastic part broke but for the low price of 20 bucks its something I might not mind replacing however it hasn’t broke and I haven’t had any problems so im not complaining about this and may buy another one for my Strat I just got

I wish there was Orange :disappointed:

Oh well, there is a green color that will match my new Stingray 4HH, so I am getting one.

Got my New GREEN Stingray Ray 4 HH coming tomorrow. Once I get some Ernie Ball Strap Locks, I can put any strap I have on it, maybe even this new one I got.

I also got a little Wrap Around, Velcro Locking shoulder pad so my flat Tie down like straps won’t be so uncomfortable.
It actually fits on this leather one too.

I’ve been and done the dirty deal and ordered a new strap! A pair of locking buttons were ordered for the 5 string but they may end up on the P.
I’m so easily led :flushed::joy:
