Tone is spot on, @enkhiel . . .
Iām a long time AC/DC fan!
Cheers
Joe
Fantastic job @enkhiel and welcome back, nice to see you.
LOVE the blackness of that bass.
Thanks to everyone for all those kind words, much appreciated. This was the first song I really struggled to start. I could have trained more to get the noodling at the better better to sync with the guitar but I couldnt be bothered anymore
So do I! Canāt take my eyes off.
This song took me way too long too.
Not sure what it is about it.
I really liked playing it though.
Itās those really long pauses. Freaking messed with my groove mojo.
Very nicely played @enkhiel ,
great tone and nice mix, you looked like you were really in the groove and based on that Iād
say itās one you love playing,
keep up the good work,
Cheers Brian
Nice job @enkhiel! What bass are you playing?
itās a Schecter Stealth 5
If only they did a gloss black logo vs. the white and an ebony fretboardā¦then perfection!
Is the back of the neck black too?
Indeed, bolted on with black screws
The only thing not matte black on this bass are the factory strings
Looks nice! Iāve been wanting to try a Schecter. Read good things about them.
I do enjoy it. I came from a Yamaha TRBX 304 and everything is jsut more premium.
Just like switch from a Samsung A Series to S Series or
from a Volkswagen to a Mercedes.
You get what I mean
YouTube blocks AC/DC videos. You have to use Vimeo to share this cover here.
Ah, ok. Iāll try that, thanks
@JoshFossgreen - any idea whatās going on with the youtube embedding? (OK, this isnāt the best example since itās a blocked video, but never-the-lessā¦)
Edit: never mind - saw the other thread where this was discussedā¦
OK, lets give this another try
Says it canāt be found. URL looks right to me though. Did you make it publicly visible?
I just tried the link again and it seems to workā¦I donāt think it had finished encoding when I pasted the link originally
Sounded great to me Matt! Nicely done. Those long pauses were so frustrating for me.
Thanks for thatā¦as well as learning the songs Iām trying to get to grips with my DAW of choice, Cakewalk, to get better recordings, but itās a struggle !!
I know what you mean about the pauses, once Iād got it worked out, I tended to skip the first part and join just before the 2nd chorus/guitar solo.
