Speaking of pet pictures

This makes a lot of sense as a cat’s purr is in low frequencies (between 25 and 150 Hz) Bass fits them naturally :smile_cat:

Autumn / Fall is my favourite time of year. Cooler temperatures, changing colours and the exciting prospect of ski season just around the corner.

Sadie is still hanging in there. I’m hoping the Husky sees some snow before she leaves us.

I always forget your Thanksgiving is on the metric system.

What’s the traditional grub for yours?

Err Poutine for the main, followed by beaver tail (flattened donuts, really!) for desert lol.

Nah, it’s the same as yours. Turkey etc.

Poutine is kinda gross… and yet, so enticing :yum:

Happy Thanksgiving!

Look. I’m an American. From the Pacific Northwest, even - where making fun of Canadians is just part of growing up. But with poutine - I will defend our Northern Buddies to the end. It’s amazing.

We do basically the same dish too, just with chili instead of gravy, and with different cheese. Both are awesome.

Beaver tails are good too , but really we do donuts better, sorry maple bros.

There is a place by us that makes them (and cider donuts) year-round now.
Apple Fritters are heaven in glazed form.

Sad day at the Jones household. I had to send another of my girls to Rainbow Bridge. Her name is Lila and she was my heart dog. This is the 2nd one in less than a month. I got her when she was about 2 years old in 2016. She had lived a life of being crated 24/7 and being abused severely. I took her away from people that were abusing her. She was my little heart. She comforted me when my late wife passed in 2017. She was glued to me all the time when I was home. She went blind but still got around great. She started losing weight and hacking up foam. Vet thought she had pneumonia but it turned out to be extensive lung and throat cancer. The last thing she did was lick me in the face as I held her. She was a silky-poo and one of the smartest I’ve ever had. I cried like a fat, blubbering baby. Run free Lila belle.

Eddie, I’m so sorry. You are a good man for rescuing this little angel and all your others. There are no words, but I sincerely wish you peace. Just take a moment to realize that you gave as much love as you got, and it was well deserved both ways. With you, brother.

I’m very sorry to hear this. It’s always an incredibly sad moment when you lose a pet.

I hate having to put two to sleep in such a short time. My big old girl just passed three weeks ago, now this one. Kills my heart.
