I’ve been playing the hell out of my V8. Man, those pups and preamp are HOT! I’ve had to turn the volume down on it when I switch between basses. It is one loud and energetic muther.
Well, well ok I have no excuse
Which color did you get @booker_t
When the right opportunity comes (like you not being at home), I do want a Marcus Fender in the collection.
Are you near Oak Tree Range? One of these Sunday morning or Holidays I’d love to bring the Marcus Miller along with a couple of favorites to you and you can re-train me about firearms handling. I was an avid shooter til 2013 when my wife was pregnant with our first daughter, I was told gun powder is not very good with babies, It’s kinda BS I know. Anyways I’m in need of refreshing lessons, lol.
An hour away. One of these days I’ll bring my “few” to your candy store… I’d like to learn about recording also. As far as shooting, I’ll hook you up with a multi-range day.
You Da Man!
The One Bass Added pictures and more explanation.
Man the extended fingerboard looks so awesome.
I thought of you, since the way it’s designed, it acts like a full length ramp.
Absolutely. @Shibata has one similar to this and it’s super cool.
Do you or @Shibata have a link? I would like to see it.
Stradi. A Polish company. Fine instrument.

Wow. Poland is kind of awesome for basses.
Even Bulgaria, would you believe it
Something about old-fashioned craftsmanship that still seems to have more tradition in Eastern Europe. (Mechanical watches, for example, often get sent to Estland for repair because it’s either too expensive here or no one has the skillset anymore…)
Mayones is Polish as well, correct?
Yep
(Apparently some of the founders had a knack for mayonnaise and would eat it often, and that also became his nickname… I think that’s what I read somewhere. Initially, I thought they must be from Spain or Latin America with that name )
Ha.
When I think Europe and Mayonnaise, for some reason Belgium is what I think of. No idea why. Maybe Frites
