Dafuq? I know two-string basses are a thing, but this reminds me of those plastic models you make as a kid where you have to snap the parts off the “tree” or whatever. Except here someone didn’t do such a good job of snapping the bass off the tree.

Ibanez has a long history of such dubiously endowed instruments, starting with the Iceman (which was probably their take of the Yamaha flying samurai concept).

Shooting that thing in front of a neutral background would have been a lot better. All the other wood grains in the pic effectively created visual noise.

Actually, I’m sure a lot went into designing and building it. Not my cuppa, perhaps it works for somebody, though.
