Upgrade Day! Anyone Else Upgrading?

No @BozzerWolf is a boy genius with the program. He sent me the files before. I tried to amend the files but it failed :joy:

Oh the pj ramp. Yeah I’ll look for it. And post it here. He can make adjustment for him and you.

Which program are you two using? Is it free and can be used without a 3d printer?
It’s no problem for me to learn that program and modify the model to my wishes. Shouldn’t be more difficult than AutoCad or Blender, right?

EDIT

EDIT 2

???

Yes, just send me the file for the ramp and I’ll print it for you. :+1:

You are my hero! What software do you use? I have a file and will edit it to fit my two Harley Bentons…

Can you do colours? Black would be great … but silver would be cool too.
I’m absolutely new to that alien technology called 3d printing

Absolutely exaggerating :joy:
I’ve just played around a whole night with the printer and cad programs. I can’t even remember which program I’ve used for the thumbrest😅

I see silver, yay!
I could send you the print stuff (black & silver) too.
What printer do you use?

I use one that comes with FlashForge 3D printer for the printer.

For my CNC I bought and installed Vectric Aspire 12. It cost me some pretty pennies but I know it will be worth it. The software is more expensive than the PC intel EVO it’s installed in and I’m thinking about putting it on my M2 Mac mini as well. So the software is still more expensive than both computers that it will be installed, combined :joy:

@BozzerWolf I’ll look for the file and you can do your magic. I paid to have these done on Fiverr.

With the CNC you can create aluminium stuff?

Depending on the router and/or Spindle and the bits. The quality ones are not cheap, on both.

File loaded, yay!

Flash Forge (Software for your 3d printer, @BozzerWolf )

Cura (is recommended by many)

FreeCAD (looks more generic and professional)

This should be the result:

That looks really cool installed on the bass. I like the look of the bass with the ramp better than without.

I’ll try to print it tomorrow :v:

How do you like the hipshot extender?
I have that on all my basses (switching between standard tuning and Drop D) and use it happily all the time!
