AGREED!!! Ivermectin is a very widely prescribed and safe drug with a long history, not only in animals, and not only as an anthelminthic (dewormer). It’s also used in the treatment of various other infections, including viral ones, due to its inhibition of proteases and nucleic acid replicases.
It’s been known to be useful for many different conditions for years: Ivermectin, ‘Wonder drug’ from Japan: the human use perspective - PMC and In fact it’s now considered a frontline, effective COVID drug, luding recently officially in Japan
What the CNN did, conflating ivermectin with “horse paste” is really evil, because people who don’t know better will not ask doctors about it when it could actually help them.
EDIT: on reconsideration and deeper dive, the recent apparent approval in Japan is likely false info. Just goes to show. Trust no one.

I think its important for folks to know that vaccination means easier symptoms, but when the worst symptom is death, it leaves a broad range of issues to occur. I still worry endlessly about long term effects as well. Keep us posted on your recovery!
I can pinpoint the exact day I got infected I think. I told my wife one morning that felt as if I was slightly allergic to something (the only way to describe what I was feeling) That I felt slightly off. I told her I didn’t think it was COVID because we were vaccinated. I now know that is probably what was happening. It got progressively worse over the next few days. The chemical taste is terrible. My smell is gone. I’ve lost 16lbs. My wife is showing no symptoms. She is taking care of me making sure I am medicated. It pays to have a good partner by your side.
I read recently that the video (or whatever) was from February of this year, and that nothing came of it since then in Japan. People using that video to say that Japan approved of ivermectin for Covid, as if it had just been announced, are incorrect.
That is how it started for me too. Felt like allergies, then sore throat, then cough, then fever and body aches, then fatigue, then lost taste (all I could taste was salt, everything tasted like salt), then my bones started hurting, then my hair even hurt. Lost like 20 lbs too.
Them Chinese and Fauci engineered it right!
If one were inclined to conspiracy theories, one could think that COVID is indeed the ultimate biological weapon. Not a doomsday one, mark you, but a usable one.
I mean, it flattens the world economies, puts people out of jobs, kills some, and makes the rest live in self-induced or gov’t-mandated fear. However, there is little possibility of it turning into Captain Trips. The latter is, of course, is the main problem with biological weapons as a whole they’re equally dangerous to everyone, and mass vaccinations of your own country are too expensive and not concealable from a potential enemy.
However that’s just conjecture and my thoughts on many people claiming that COVID is a ridiculous bio weapon.
However, near as I can piece it together, the truth seems to be that there was dangerous (likely GoF) research going on in the Wuhan lab; due to numerous safety violations and mini-outbreaks the Obama admin cut off NIH funding to it; the Trump admin upheld the ban; in contravention of it someone decided to re-fund research at that institute; the virus got out most likely by accident, with some evidence now showing that it was as early as June/July of 2019, and certainly by early fall.
Either way, there’s a lot of porky pies being told all over the place.
