I think some covers can really bring new life into a song. What are your favorite cover songs? I’m looking for ones that mixed it up, not just played the original. Here are my top 3:
Hayley Reinhart and PMJs incredibly powerful rendition of Radiohead’s “Creep”
Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged cover of Lead Belly’s “Where did you sleep last night”. Has quite the crescendo in it.
And last but not least, Johnny Cash’s cover of Nine Inch Nails “Hurt”. Just a masterpiece.
I don’t like Nirvana but the original song from Leadbelly is great (and I have the original vynil record). I don’t like Johnny Cash but the original song from Nine Inch Nails is great.
I like this one :

That’s a bit like burning the in the USA
There are quite a lot of ABBA covers online…
He didn’t change it from the original, but Jaco took Charlie Parker’s Donna Lee and turned it into a bass solo.
What does Britney Slayes do after the show? Go to a karaoke bar and do Queensryche
Don’t even have to post my favourites, @howard did it for me already
