Hello my name SeGwendolyn! I’ve had my bass for years but could never seem to find the time to learn how to play it. I think I initially bought it bc it was so pretty! Now it’s time to learn how to play her! :smirk: I saw Josh on YouTube and have been following him for a while . I love the way he teaches. Keep it up! :+1:t4:

The Beginner to Badass course is the best way to learn how to play.

Hey everyone,

I’m thrilled to join this community! I picked up the bass after watching Davie504’s guitar lesson and got hooked, just like Homer Simpson in “Covercraft.” I’ve been playing for about ten weeks now, practicing at least a couple hours a day (oftentimes more).

I have ADHD, and playing the bass really helps me focus. However, I do struggle with complex bass lines at this stage, but I’m hopeful things will improve with time and practice.

I play a Squier P-bass and recently swapped the original strings for D’Addario XL Chromes flatwound. The strings might be worth half of what the bass is, but I love the sound of flatwounds.

I don’t stick to one music genre. Instead, I’m expanding my taste as I find interesting bass lines to learn.

Looking forward to connecting with you all and sharing our bass journeys!

Says the person whose bass collection could be described as:

“one of each” or “yes please”
