I am about to start with Scott’s Players Path I think. I want to get better and think this may be my best choice until Josh gives us another course. I know SBL gets slammed for his banter, however, I like the info found within that banter. He has a 14 day free trial offer that I will take to check it out.

Filling the post B2B VOID!?!?

Finishing B2B, and all of Josh’s other YouTube videos, I am feeling a very large void in direction and what to do next and how to do it. So, I signed up for the ‘big course’, SBL. Don’t get me wrong, lots of good content there…almost too much, not as focused, and much harder to pluck out the ‘what should I be doing’. I don’t want to bash SBL, as it is a very good site, but finding the ‘nuggets’ is more of a hunt, and man o man, its VERY wordy and they take a long time to say a simple thing. T…

I'm done with the B2B course, now what?!

I completed this course in 6 weeks. I got a ton from it. I have been jamming with my bandmate and feeling fairly confident in my major,minor scales and 145, 135. But, I want more! These lessons have been a great way to just practice. Is there a plan for a next set of lessons? Badass to god level? If so, I’m buying! Josh, you are great teacher and I want more. Any good news on another course?

Thoughts on B2B for the second time

I promised an After Action Report on finishing B2B for the second time, so here it is, in no particular order. Do it! There are songs and/or snippets of songs that I still practice. Others, I didn’t remember at all, despite completing the fast workout first time around. I did skip the early, “This is a bass, these are strings” lessons. Beginner to Badass is a misnomer. Beginner to moderately competent is more accurate, but sucks as a marketing slogan. Beginner to Bar Band is accurate for the 2…
