After both @Johnnyb and @JohnF covers, I feel like I’ve just turned up at the Tate Gallery to display my macaroni portrait.
I posted this on YouTube yesterday, not realising that it was King Charles’ official birthday. I can only apologise if I led anyone to believe it was a patriotic gesture.

Ok…now this is the fast Dwight Yoakam song I was practicing all week before I went on a detour with some mellow Waylon and Dwight tunes. Dwight is definitely paying homage to Roy Orbison with the guitar riff…

I love me some Alan Parsons Project, and when I realized this bass line seemed achievable I went for it! I could use more work on getting those slides consistent, but I’m happy with the results for now. And I had a blast learning it.

Yeah I’ve been keeping the bass pushed forward since these are for me and I want to hear it, but I might start pushing it back a little. You’re right it could be less prominent.

Thanks, Andrea! That is very cool that you’re checking out some Dwight Yoakam songs on Songsterr…I’ve got a few more of his on my “list” as he’s got quite a catalog. Yes, we have quite different musical tastes but it has been a lot of fun listening to new (to me) music!

As many of you know, #Hysteria was the bonus song for the 50-song challenge, and I already got a medal for smashing those 50 songs – woohoo! 
That said, I actually agree this song deserves a T-shirt, so maybe I should order one from @JoshFossgreen.
It seems my fingers were indeed flying on both hands! This was my first and only take at full speed, so I think I was truly maxing out my abilities at that point, haha!
