I have some of the same glowy stars on the ceiling in my office!

I said that once, now I have 10! Even 10 is a low number here! Thatā€™s not overkill, it will save you in the long run and if youā€™re happy, that all that matters! Nice bass!

Oh good, my two is nothing.

Although if we start adding up household instruments it might look a little different.

Really, we only need 1, I have more bass than I know how to play! Iā€™m starting to realize that I have a problem and need to cull the herd!

You need a AMSEC safe for all those!

Ha ha, I have two for my firearms.

It only fits a few at best, unless I remove all of the door shelves.

I assume the first statement was also a joke. if it wasnā€™t, Iā€™m afraid youā€™ve got a lot to learnā€¦.

Wow - there are kids that prefer a trombone over a bass???!

Just like @Wombat-metal, I heared great things about TV Jones pickups, so Iā€™m looking forward to your cover!

Actually, you can. The forums are free and open for everyone.

Congratulations on buying your first bass and subscribing to the course! Both are awesome :+1:t2:

Today was a big day. Carvana picked up my 2020 Nissan Leaf SL Plus I had sold to them. I bought the Leaf new in 2020 and it had 200 miles on the odometer ( it had 82 miles on it when it delivered to me.) At the same time UPS delivered the Bass guitar.
The guitar and gig bag are currently quarantined in the garage, occupying the empty spot were the Leaf was kept. The seller had packed the box around the gig bag with SYROFOAM!!! (Isnā€™t bubblewrap legal in Florida?). Well you can imagine how many flakes got knocked off in transit.
I think the seller may have been passive-aggressive because in my first communication with him I asked what was wrong with the neck because there were no fret markers, and then I asked him to take the purple shawl off the guitar and send me more pictures so I could see the body better, which he did. ( Turns out it was not a shawl but the strap he had on the bass.)
I am going to see if I can get it out of quarantine tomorrow. I will take some pictures to post here.

Guten abend Whying_Dutchman.
I was wondering about the preference of trombone over a bass as well. Since the father plays an upright bass I am thinking they may be Amish.
As for the cover it is only a drab dark grey gig bag and not very interesting.

A ā€œcoverā€ refers to a cover song. When a player plays along with a recorded version of a song, itā€™s called a cover.

Also, bands that perform songs that were originally recorded by famous bands or artists are known as cover bands.

Oops, I already posted a picture while responding to @Whying_Dutchman about his message. Why does my response to him higher up show up down here? Just curious. (I find myself floundering at times trying to do things right on the forum)

I quoted a part of your message as part of my reply in order to provide context. Many forum members do the same when posting replies.

Also, I donā€™t know if you saw my reply to you about your misconception that the word ā€œcoverā€ refers to your bassā€™s gig bag.

In short, it does not.

Here is the explanation.

@UncleToad

This is an example of a ā€œcoverā€ video. @Whying_Dutchman was asking you to play it on a video and share it. Hereā€™s one of mine
